05 September 2017TH Real Estate has achieved an A+ rating for the second consecutive year from the ‘Principles for Responsible Investment’ (PRI), the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment supported by the United Nations.
Abigail Dean, Head of Sustainability at TH Real Estate, comments: "We are delighted to have achieved the top rating from the Principles for Responsible Investment for the second year running. At the heart of TH Real Estate’s approach is a deep recognition of our fiduciary duty to identify and manage the issues that are expected to impact on the performance of our clients’ investments. This understanding is underpinned by our Tomorrow’s World approach which aims to future-proof today’s investments and identify optimum investments for tomorrow."
The benchmark assessment, which reviewed over 1,000 participants including all major global asset managers, has two components; strategy and governance scorecard (for all asset managers) and real estate scorecard (specifically for real estate managers). TH Real Estate earned an A+ and A rating, respectively.
These latest results, builds on a series of awards for TH Real Estate’s Tomorrow’s World approach, having been awarded 10 Green Stars in the 2016 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), and being named the 2017 EPA ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award by the US Environmental Protection Agency for the 10th consecutive year.
