BBP Members Use Big Data to Improve Comfort and Efficiency

Canary Wharf Group, Land Securities, M&G Real Estate, TH Real Estate, The Crown Estate and TfL are all using Demand Logic’s system to improve building performance. The system collects data through the BMS and analyses it, producing simple graphics and tables, which help building teams identify potential operational improvements.

Savills Launches Food Waste Digesters at Princesshay

At Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter, managing agent Savills and asset manager The Crown Estate have installed three food waste digesters, significantly increasing recycling, cutting disposal costs for occupiers and reducing environmental impacts. Following the success of this initiative, Savills is considering food waste digester opportunities for other sites in England.
