The Better Buildings Partnership is excited to announce the addition of three new Delivery Partners to the Design for Performance (DfP) scheme. These partners are committed to delivering buildings that are in line with Design for Performance standards, which are currently being piloted by ten property owners. The latest firms to join on as DfP Delivery Partners are chapmanbdsp, Mecserve and Pick Everard, bringing the total up to 20. 

Chapmanbsdp is an independent design consultancy, specialising in building services engineering and environmental design. It has delivered world-class projects across a range of sectors for nearly 50 years, making the built environment more efficient and sustainable. The company recently launched its Environmental Impact Charter, setting out its sustainability, social value and wellbeing commitments. The company is also a signatory of the Construction Declares initiative. It regularly contributes to legislative consultations—most recently to changes to Part L of the Building Regulations—and hosts events on many industry issues, including fuel poverty.

Mecserve is an engineering design consultancy with more than 45 years of experience, specialising in building services, facilities management, energy and sustainability design, which serves to provide a complete design cycle for the MEP selection, installation and operations. Mecserve provides bespoke advice to clients, professional team members and contracting organisations. The company’s ethos is focused on understanding the customer’s key business directives, culture and aspirations before evaluating and offering project solutions. 

Pick Everard is an independent property, construction and infrastructure consultancy. Pick Everard employs more than 550 staff across its 13 UK offices, providing a range of project, cost and design consultancy services.  Earlier this year, Pick Everard became the first UK firm to sign all categories of the Construction Declares Climate and Biodiversity Emergency, an international declaration aiming to unite all strands of the built environment, committing property and construction firms to take positive action in response to the climate and biodiversity crisis.
