BBP Membership expands with the joining of Cadogan, City of London and Invesco as Latest Members

We are delighted to welcome three new members to the Better Buildings Partnership. Cadogan, City of London and Invesco Real Estate, bring membership of the BBP up to 42 and the AUM covered to c£270bn. 

Sarah Ratcliffe, CEO at Better Buildings Partnership said: “The BBP continues to build on its strong reputation for bringing property owners together to demonstrate leadership, share knowledge and deliver practical guidance for the whole industry. These three new members make an extremely valuable addition to the BBP’s membership and will further strengthen our efforts to improve the sustainability performance of commercial real estate portfolios.”

James Rooke, Head of Energy and Sustainability, City of London said: “We are looking forward to joining the BBP in order to share our experiences with sustainability in the built environment, as well as tap into the experience of other members. As a significant property owner and planning authority we want to provide the right guidance, support and ambition to our community in this area. Joining the BBP is a natural fit, as the activities and aspirations of BBP members complement our own motivations and values.”

Cadogan

City of London 

The City of London is the governing body of the square mile with the service and planning obligations that accompany a public authority. The City is unusual in that it is also a major occupier and investment property owner in and around the square mile, with combined public and investment assets of over 1,200 buildings. This covers a significant commercial office portfolio as well as many of London’s iconic buildings such as the Barbican Centre, Guildhall, Mansion House and Tower Bridge. The City of London has the ambitious target of achieving net zero carbon across its Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2027 and Scope 3 emissions by 2040.
