We’re delighted to share the latest benchmarks from our REEB project.

The BBP’s Real Estate Environmental Benchmark (REEB) is based on asset-level environmental data provided by our members. It helps our members and the wider commercial real estate sector understand performance trends and how individual assets compare. The REEB project has been producing annual benchmarks since 2010, but this is the first update since the covid-19 pandemic, and as such the benchmarks show some significant reductions (e.g. 15% reduction for AC Offices). 

Another new addition to this update shows REEB in the context of other benchmarking initiatives from NABERS UK, CIBSE, CRREM, Deepki, EPRA, GRESB, Urban Land Institute, NABERS, and Energystar so that readers can see the extent to which different initiatives align on what ‘typical’ performance looks like.
