WORKS
Requirements agreed within Design and Delivery must be appropriately embedded within the contractor’s scope of works for Construction. A key element of this process is Commissioning. Ensuring adequate resource is dedicated to commissioning will ensure building systems and services operate as designed, and are fit for occupation. Once commissioning is complete, works should be signed-off as meeting all agreed requirements by both owner and occupier. Following which, the Completion & Handover process will begin to ensure building managers and end-users fully understand the features of fit-out and are sufficiently trained to manage and use the space effectively.
