Their Net Zero Carbon commitment can be found in their Annual Report, and on their website here.
To support its delivery, Howard de Walden have recently published its Sustainability Strategy, deCarbon, which is underpinned by four key strategic commitments to guide their sustainability agenda and response to climate change over the coming years. The commitments define business improvement priorities, including the programmes of work managed by their Sustainability Committee and Sustainability Taskforce.
Sarah Ratcliffe, CEO, Better Buildings Partnership said: “Howard de Walden have demonstrated a robust commitment to sustainability through their ambitious net zero carbon commitment, and we look forward to welcoming them to the BBP Membership, to further accelerate the sustainable transformation of their portfolios, and work collaboratively with our existing members to drive market transformation across the sector.”
Simon Tranter, Head of Sustainability, Howard de Walden said: “Howard de Walden is a company firmly rooted in science and guided by a deep trust in its principles. We understand the pressing need to curtail carbon emissions and combat the advancing impact of climate change. This is why becoming a member of the BBP is so important – we know there is a shared endeavor to learn, improve, and to act with the support of the real estate industry.”
